Finance - Accountant

About the role

The Accountant supports the Accounting Manager or Accounting Cycle Analyst in carrying out Group and local accounting activities. The role ensures accurate accounting records, compliance with Group standards and local legislation, and timely availability of financial information for preparing financial statements.

What you'll do

• Ensure General Ledger (GL) entries and transactions comply with Group standards, local regulations, and accounting procedures
• Record, verify, and control accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Perform account and bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution
• Explain account reconciliations and provide supporting documents to reviewers, internal and external auditors, and internal controllers
• Complete closing activities and reporting within prescribed deadlines and quality standards
