Finance Executive

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the Accounts Payable (AP) function. The ideal candidate should possess sound accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and company policies.

What you'll do

• Verify Payment Requisition Vouchers (PRVs) received from various departments for completeness and accuracy
• Ensure all required approvals are obtained in accordance with the company's Delegation of Authority (DOA) and approval matrix
• Review supporting documents and attachments to ensure they are adequate and compliant with company policies
• Examine the applicability of TDS and ensure correct deduction and accounting as per the Income Tax Act
• Accurately book operating expenses and liabilities in SAP Business One (SAP B1) within the prescribed timelines
