GBG Product Costing Specialist

About the role

The Product Costing Specialist conducts inventory analysis and delivers actionable insights to help business units mitigate significant product-cost impacts.

What you'll do

• Perform monthly inventory valuation at standard cost and actual cost in accordance with the month-end closing schedule
• Analyze monthly variances involving actual cost, standard cost, and production orders
• Support the definition and maintenance of the annual operating plan, including fixed production costs and variable rates
• Calculate and record provisions for slow-moving inventory, net realizable value, and/or replacement price in accordance with the closing schedule and GAIN methodology
• Communicate process deliverables and ensure stakeholders remain informed of progress, issues, and resolutions

What you need

• 5–7 yrs of experience
• Costing
• Month-end close
• Accounting
• Excel
• Valuation
• MS Office
• Chartered Accountant or CMA or B.Com
