Global Internet Planning Engineer-Pune VOIS

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Global Internet Planning Engineer to support the planning, design, optimisation, and lifecycle management of Vodafone Group's global Internet network (AS1273). This role is ideal for a network professional with strong expertise in Internet capacity planning, Layer 3 network design, traffic analysis, and telecommunications infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Monitor Internet network traffic demand and plan bandwidth upgrades to support business and customer requirements
• Analyse network performance, prepare capacity reports and dashboards, identify traffic hotspots, and develop resilience plans to minimise service disruption
• Collaborate with transmission and submarine capacity planning teams to design, deliver, and validate new network capacities
• Develop pre-sales network solutions and assess customer traffic profiles to recommend appropriate Internet connectivity solutions
• Deliver project planning, solution design, Bill of Quantity (BoQ), and Bill of Material (BoM) preparation for network expansion, device deployment
