About the role

By connecting markets East & West, Nomura services the needs of individuals, institutions, corporates and governments through its four business divisions: Wealth Management, Investment Management, Wholesale (Global Markets and Investment Banking), and Banking. Nomura Services, India supports the group’s global businesses.

What you'll do

• Financial due diligence - Review the historical financials of borrower groups and validate the assumptions underlying financial projections
• Financial modelling - Build and maintain cash-flow, debt-sizing and returns models to support deal structuring, sensitivity analysis and covenant setting
• Credit and investment materials - Prepare investment memos, teasers, pitchbooks and credit committee papers to a high standard of accuracy and presentation
• Reporting - Produce monthly and quarterly reports for deal teams on executed trades, and respond to ad-hoc queries from stakeholders
• Cross-functional coordination - Liaise with control and support functions including Credit Risk Management (CRM), Legal, Compliance

What you need

• 1–5 yrs of experience
