Head - Fluids & Mechanical Systems

About the role

You will be part of the Aeroderivative Gas Turbines Engineering organization, leading the Fluids & Mechanical Systems team responsible for delivering critical engineering solutions for gas turbine development programs. The team works closely with Product Assurance, Core Development, Digital & Data Solutions, and other global engineering functions to drive innovation, quality, and operational excellence.

What you'll do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10–12 Fluids & Mechanical Systems engineers, driving technical excellence and capability development
• Provide technical oversight for the design, development, and validation of gas turbine fluid and mechanical systems
• Review engineering designs, calculations, and analyses to ensure compliance with global standards, product requirements, and quality expectations
• Collaborate with Product Assurance, Core Development, and other global teams to ensure timely delivery of engineering projects
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes, productivity, and project execution

What you need

• 12–15 yrs of experience
• Mechanical engineering
• Performance management
• B.Tech or B.E.
