About the role
Provide specialist technical oversight for the ±500 kV VSC-HVDC terminal stations, including converter technology, AC/DC system interfaces, converter transformers, valves, reactors, filters, control, protection and system integration.
What you'll do
- Review the overall HVDC system architecture, design criteria and technical interfaces
- Review OEM documents for VSC converters, converter valves, converter transformers and associated auxiliaries
- Review AC/DC filters, phase reactors, smoothing reactors, harmonic filters and reactive-power equipment
- Review station control, pole control, valve control, protection, monitoring and sequence-of-events systems
- Review operating modes, power-control functions, voltage and reactive-power control and system recovery philosophy
What you need
- 12–22 yrs of experience

- Telecom
- B.Tech or B.E. or M.Tech
