About the role

In data engineering at PwC, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions. What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure data pipelines on GCP, utilizing tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, analysts, and software engineers) to understand business requirements and deliver actionable data solutions
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into GCP-based data warehouses
• Build and manage data lakes and data marts on GCP to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives
• Implement automated data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure data integrity
