Internal Audit – Business Process – Senior 2

About the role

The Senior Business Process Risk and Controls Consultant performs advanced and complex control testing, risk analysis, and issue evaluation. This role supports multiple engagements, independently manages workstreams, and contributes to reporting and remediation planning. Senior Consultants are emerging leaders who translate process insights into business impact.

What you'll do

• Independently perform, lead,and oversee detailed testing of complex and high risk processes and controls
• Assist clients in planning and performing risk assessments, developing control frameworks, and aligning with industry standards such as SOX, COSO and etc
• Draft internal audit reports, executive summaries, and risk assessments that clearly communicate findings, implications
• Plan and conduct process walkthroughs and risk assessments, evaluating control design and operating effectiveness against frameworks such as SOX, COSO and etc
• Identify, analyze, document, and clearly articulate and communication control deficiencies, root causes, and risk implications, escalating issues as appropriate
