IT Quality Engineer - Day Shift

About the role

The IT Quality Engineer is responsible for executing the day-to-day testing activities to ensure software applications meet functional requirements and quality standards. The role involves creating and executing manual test cases, identifying defects, and contributing to the automation suite using Playwright.

What you'll do

• Execute manual functional, regression, and smoke tests to ensure application stability and requirement coverage
• Create and maintain detailed test cases and test steps within X-ray based on business requirements
• Identify, document, and track software defects in Jira; collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution
• Develop and update basic automated test scripts using Playwright under the guidance of senior team members
• Participate in requirement grooming sessions to provide feedback on testability and acceptance criteria

What you need
