About the role

Review of annual premium tax returns, estimates and other miscellaneous filings for US based entities. Review of monthly reconciliations and journal entries Performing a review of filings prepared by other team members for accuracy, completeness and technical proficiency. E filings of returns via OPTins and making the required payment to the state authority.

What you'll do

• Review of annual premium tax returns, estimates and other miscellaneous filings for US based entities
• Review of monthly reconciliations and journal entries
• Performing a review of filings prepared by other team members for accuracy, completeness and technical proficiency
• Performing transaction testing for five different types of transactions – New Business, Renewal, Reinstatement, Cancellation and Endorsement
• Preparing federal and state workpapers for tax returns and extensions with the primary data provided by client
