Lead Design Engineer

About the role

As a Lead Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for engineering activities such as detailed design, analytical calculations, tolerance stack-ups, creating manufacturing drawings, supporting product Rollout activities, and reviewing complex designs/drawings for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to established Engineering Standards and practices pertaining to Marmon Fastner Group.

What you'll do

• Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams, leverage technical strategy and best practices, and lead the successful execution of projects
• Be involved in people development, managing on- time project delivery and responsible for quality of deliverables of all the projects within team
• Responsible for leading new product development by applying technical expertise throughout the product lifecycle
• Review designs, 3D models, and drawings that represent the product in terms of its fit, form, and function
• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation for products
