Lead Tax Analyst (Direct Tax- India/UK)

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Tax Analyst who will be responsible for direct tax activities for all group entities (in particular India and UK) including tax compliance, US GAAP and IFRS tax reporting, audits, correspondence with Tax Authorities, transfer pricing, withholding tax, repatriation and all other tax aspects as needed ensuring compliance based upon sound research, analysis and interpretation of tax laws and tax reporting guidance under IFRS and US GAAP.

What you'll do

• Responsible for direct tax activities for all group entities (in particular India and UK) including tax compliance, US GAAP and IFRS tax reporting, audits
• Serve as subject matter expert on tax research projects ensuring tax filing positions are supported by sound research
• Manage TDS and other withholding tax positions including ensuring the relevant treaty clearance requirements are in place
• Assist the wider Tax Group with identifying, researching and implementing tax savings strategies
• Responsible for the completion of tax reporting matters including preparation and oversight of the tax expense, deferred taxes
