Legal & Compliance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Compliance to join our fast-growing fintech/nbfc company based in Mumbai. The Manager of Compliance will be responsible for ensuring that our organization adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, RBI guidelines, and industry standards.

What you'll do

• Ensuring the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations and guidelines as per Companies Act and RBI regulations
• Managing end to end seceretarial compliances of the company, including the maintenance of statutory registers, fillings and records with regulatory authorities
• Coordinating and organising board meetings, including preparing and distributing agendas, attending meetings, and drafting minutes
• Vetting, drafting and negotiating contracts/ agreements and ensuring consistent and comprehensive coverage of commercial, contractual
• Facilitating communication between the company and its shareholders, including the organisation of annual general meetings and handling shareholder inquiries
