About the role

The Legal and Compliance Officer, India is the primary in-house legal resource for ROCKWOOL India's operations across Mumbai, Dahej, Cheyyar, Chennai, and Rajasthan (upcoming).

What you'll do

  • Corporate & Commercial Contracts
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of commercial agreements including, but not limited to, sales and distribution agreements, procurement contracts
  • Ensure that all contracts reflect ROCKWOOL's policy and are compliant with Indian law, Group standards, and internal policies
  • Provide timely and practical legal opinions to internal stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations, and risk
  • Liaise with external legal counsel in India on complex matters and manage cost-effective use of external legal resources
