Manager Credit Initiation

About the role

This role exists to support sustainable retail portfolio growth by making prudent, timely and consistent credit decisions for mortgage and wealth management products. The role evaluates customers’ creditworthiness, risk exposure, affordability and application quality to ensure lending decisions align with the Bank’s credit policies, risk appetite, regulatory obligations and business objectives.

What you'll do

• Credit Assessment & Underwriting
• Assess retail mortgage and wealth management applications to deliver prudent credit decisions that balance customer needs with portfolio risk objectives
• Evaluate customer financial profiles, affordability, repayment capacity and credit history to determine appropriate lending outcomes
• Escalate complex or higher-risk cases appropriately to ensure sound risk governance and decision integrity
• Credit Risk & Fraud Management
