Manager, Indirect Tax Technology

About the role

The tax engine (Vertex) calculates the correct sales tax and VAT on every order across the DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo platforms, and this role owns the deep technical expertise that keeps that engine accurate.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop the offshore CoE team, allocating workload, establishing QA checkpoints, and providing structured knowledge transfer on complex processes
• Design, standardize, and enhance the automated tax testing framework across all phases (unit, integration, E2E, shadow, regression and post-launch)
• Serve as the senior point of escalation for defects found during testing and provide the go-live technical recommendation for production releases
• Partner with Vertex to understand updates to product offerings, tax engine technical Q&A, and manage Vertex support tickets
