Manager - Industrial Relations

About the role

This role will be responsible for plant’s industrial relations and labour compliance agenda, ensuring a compliant, engaged, and productive workforce while minimizing employee-relations and business-continuity risks. This role involves proactively managing contract staff and their grievances, labour-law related compliances and building strong relationships with labour authorities and external stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Employee Engagement & Connection: Establish structured engagement mechanisms with contract employees and trainees to foster trust, address grievances
• Stakeholder & External Authority Management: Build and maintain effective working relationships with local labour authorities, police officials
• Contractor Relationship Management & Compliance: Manage relationships with contract labour providers and service contractors, ensuring adherence to labour laws
• Workforce Experience & Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring workforce challenges and implement proactive interventions to improve employee experience, engagement
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on the needs of the manufacturing teams

What you need
