What you'll do
- The right person obsessively reads the news, has a feel for what makes a story, and can write well
- Run a structured daily media monitoring process across domestic and global publications, tracking industry narratives, regulatory developments
- Synthesise monitoring outputs into clear, actionable intelligence notes that allow the public relations function to respond quickly or plan proactively
- Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, spokesperson quotes and reactive statements for news and media outlets
- Support the development and maintenance of direct journalist relationships in collaboration with external agencies
