About the role

This job is responsible for managing the application of network security protocols and updating disaster recovery plans. It involves directing engineers in security best practices and maintaining the network's defense systems. The role plays a crucial part in protecting the Company's information systems.

What you'll do

• Responsible for managing the application of network security protocols and updating disaster recovery plans
• Provide day-to-day operational support for routers and switches, including alert response, incident handling, service requests, and standard changes
• Troubleshoot common interface, reachability, packet-loss, latency, hardware, and configuration issues
• Own assigned tickets through diagnosis, remediation, validation, documentation, and closure within established priorities and escalation paths
• Perform device health checks, configuration backup and restore, software and hardware inventory updates, and operational readiness checks
