Network Engineer, Capacity Restoration Team

About the role

CRT reduces operational backlog, improves network health monitoring systems, and drives time-to-remediate (TTR) down. Today, a significant network capacity is out of service at any given time. The operational workload is capacity related and heavily manual and we are building the team and automation to change that.

What you'll do

• Lead complex capacity restoration events involving multiple network layers and cross-region links
• Drive root-cause analysis and develop remediation plans for recurring failures
• Improve operational processes, runbooks, and escalation procedures based on observed patterns
• Mentor engineers and conduct knowledge transfer sessions
• Coordinate with engineering teams on platform readiness and design validation
