Packaging Designer for Platform Architecture Engineering

About the role

will play a pivotal role in optimizing the integration and packaging of components within Renault's vehicle platforms, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness throughout the design and manufacturing lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Develop and optimize packaging solutions for vehicle components and systems, considering assembly processes, manufacturing constraints, and functional requirements
• Utilize CAE tools and parametric modeling techniques to analyze, simulate, and validate packaging designs
• Apply Design Engineering principles and Design to Cost methodologies to achieve optimal product solutions while meeting budget targets
• Implement Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles in design to ensure manufacturing accuracy and component interchangeability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, supply chain, and product engineering
