People Business Partner (Retail )

About the role

The role is expected asses the current and future business needs; act as an employee champion and as a change agent to drive the business strategy. Ownership of the engagement calendar and implement the same for the division/ region Store Open House, 1-1 with Regional Employees. Attendance and Discipline – Ensure proper discipline and hygiene at stores through constant engagement with Store Managers & Attendance system vendor.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with the regional business leadership team to identify & close manpower requirements and manage the requisition process
• Ensure 'Right Fit' into a role - either through internal movements or external hiring
• Ensure new employee induction & readiness before deployment in the role especially for customer facing roles
• Create a ready pipeline of external candidates for store roles (leverage local campuses/ job fairs/ walk-ins)
• Implement & execute the performance management calendar (goal setting, continuous performance management, final appraisals)
