About the role

You will be expected to carry out basic tax compliance functions in the Private Client Tax Division. You will receive comprehensive training in all areas required: The tax compliance process in your process as it pertains to your role. Background to the Firm’s tax procedures including take on procedures and risk management.

What you'll do

• Reviewing and inputting information into CCH
• Inputting payments from HMRC portal into CCH
• For new clients - gathering and organising client source data, such as identity documentation, proof of source of funds, etc. (existing clients will be on system)
• Downloading information from HMRC, e.g., state pension information
• Downloading HMRC statements for tax liabilities to support tax payment reconciliations

What you need

• 3–6 yrs of experience
• Reconciliation
• Accounting
• Financial statements
• Compliance
• Direct tax
• B.Com or MBA or M.Com
