PKF Melbourne – BAS Accountant - Intermediate/Senior

About the role

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):·Complete processing of year end work for individuals, trust, partnerships, and companies. Preparation of workpapers for all material P&L accounts and all balance sheet accounts. Reconciliation of sales, GST, payroll tax and all balance sheet accounts.

What you'll do

• Prepare income tax reconditions, income tax return workpapers and income tax returns
• Identify tax efficient trust distributions and dividend payments
• Prepare list of matters identified for manager and partner to discuss with client
• Track, coordinate, and communicate your own workflow and associated timelines with allinvested parties proactively and on a regular basis

What you need

• 4–7 yrs of experience
• GST
• Reconciliation
• Income tax
• Accounting
• Financial statements
• Excel
• Class 12 or Chartered Accountant or MBA
