Power Converter Engineer at Nordex. Define concept and detailed specifications of the Power Converter of the Nordex WTGs based on the Power Electric system specifications.
What you'll do
- Create converter sub-assemblies design and tests specifications and collaborate with the manufacturers in the validation of the converter parts
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to main converter: specifications, manuals, instructions
- Support inspections and tests locally in Asian suppliers facilities
- Define converter system test specifications and validate results in stand-alone and generator-connected test benches
- Support Sourcing department in the identification and validation of converter subcomponents from alternative sources
What you need
- 5–9 yrs of experience
- B.Tech or B.E. or M.Tech
