Principal Engineer – Mechanical (Pump & Pipeline)

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Engineer to support mining infrastructure projects across Australia, with a strong focus on pumping systems, pipeline networks, and water management systems. This is a hybrid role combining process engineering, hydraulic analysis, and pipeline/pumping system design, rather than a conventional EPC-style discipline role.

What you'll do

• Responsible for engineering design of Process with WSP Engineering and Client Standards
• Process descriptions and design basis
• Process hazard studies (including HAZOP) and design safety reviews
• Process basis of safety
• Ensure technical excellence in Pipeline engineering and design

What you need

• 13–16 yrs of experience
• MS Office
• Revit
• System design
• Fabrication
• Maintenance
• Instrumentation
• B.Tech or B.E.
