Project Controls Head

About the role

This role is responsible for establishing governance, systems, and leadership across planning, cost control, risk management, and performance reporting functions. The role will ensure alignment with AECOM’s global project delivery framework, driving consistency, predictability, and performance across complex assignments, including renewable energy, transmission & distribution, and hybrid energy systems.

What you'll do

• Provide strategic oversight across planning, cost, risk, change, and reporting functions to ensure consistent project delivery outcomes
• Work closely with the Head of Integrated Programme Controls to sustain and enhance governance, policies, and assurance processes
• Planning & Scheduling Management
• Develop and maintain integrated master schedules (Level 1–4) using Primavera P6 / MS Project , ensuring full alignment across Engineering, Procurement
• Monitor critical paths, float consumption, and key milestones; implement mitigation and recovery strategies where required
