Purchase Executive - Solar

About the role

A fast-scaling B2B procurement and supply chain solutions firm operating across the Indian solar energy ecosystem, we enable seamless sourcing, vendor management, and cost-optimized procurement for solar EPCs, OEMs, and project developers.

What you'll do

• Source, evaluate, and onboard solar equipment suppliers (panels, inverters, mounting structures, cabling) across India with focus on cost, quality
• Negotiate volume-based pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to meet client project budgets and timelines
• Manage end-to-end PO processing — from RFQ issuance to invoice reconciliation — ensuring compliance with internal procurement policies and client specifications
• Track inventory levels, lead times, and order status; proactively flag delays and coordinate with logistics and project teams to mitigate risks
• Build and maintain a dynamic supplier database with performance ratings, certifications, and category-specific benchmarks for strategic sourcing

What you need
