QC Engineer - Production (Sheet Metal)

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on QC Engineer — Production (Sheet Metal) to manage day-to-day quality control activities across incoming materials, in-process manufacturing, and final product inspection. The role involves working directly on the shop floor to inspect, measure, approve, document, and improve product quality.

What you'll do

• QC System & Process Improvement
• Develop and implement inspection checklists, SOPs, quality formats, and daily QC reporting systems
• Establish appropriate AQL sampling plans for incoming, in-process, and final inspections
• Maintain inspection standards and ensure consistent quality practices across production processes
• Identify recurring quality issues and recommend improvements to reduce rejection, rework, and scrap

What you need

• 3–6 yrs of experience
• Fabrication
• Quality control
• Root cause analysis
• ISO 9001
• Mechanical engineering
• SOP writing
• B.Tech or B.E. or Diploma
