It is also responsible for ensuring the maintenance of a good portfolio quality and for ensuring smooth credit appraisal processes About the Role The Geography Credit Head (GCH) manages the credit activities, processes and people for the Wholesale Credit vertical for designated location.

What you'll do

• Lead the Area Credit Head and the Credit team in the geography to manage the credit appraisal process , by ensuring adherence to the standard process
• Ensuring the quality of proposals and credit appraisal to minimize delinquency and build portfolio of expected quality
• Gather market intelligence with other financial institutions and entities to understand the market dynamics and risk trends
• Monitor the accounts to ensure maintenance of a healthy portfolio
• Manage the relationship with various functions and departments within the bank to ensure collaboration and alignment to organizational objectives

What you need

• 15–20 yrs of experience
• Credit appraisal
• Audit
• Chartered Accountant or MBA
