Senior Accountant - R2R/IFRS/Blackline - Pune & Chennai

About the role

The Senior Accountant is responsible for executing and supporting core accounting, reconciliation, and close activities, ensuring financial information is recorded accurately, timely, and in compliance with IFRS and corporate accounting policies. This role plays an important part in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting and supporting a strong internal control environment for the businesses supported by Wolters Kluwer.

What you'll do

• Execute assigned aspects of the month‑end close and reporting process in alignment with the Corporate Reporting calendar
• Ensure assigned transactions are recorded and reported in a timely, complete, and accurate manner
• Identify accounting issues within assigned areas, assess impact, and escalate to management with supporting analysis
• Perform and review reconciliations (GL, AP, AR, bank) on a monthly, quarterly, or semi‑annual basis
• Maintain desktop procedures for assigned processes, supporting updates as directed
