Senior Accountant-VA Client Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant (3–6 years experience) to own end-to-end delivery for a portfolio of clients under our Virtual Accountant (VA). You will be responsible for maintaining clean books, ensuring compliance (GST, TDS), preparing MIS, and acting as the first point of contact for clients on routine operations — with a review layer above you.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end bookkeeping for multiple clients, including ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and month-end closures
• Manage GST compliance (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, 2A/2B reconciliation, annual return support)
• Handle TDS compliance (deductions, returns, Form 16/16A, 26AS reconciliation)
• Review work completed by junior associates and ensure quality before delivery
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients for routine queries and updates
