About the role

Positions within this stream require individuals with a recognized professional accounting designation, who will support the accounting, valuation, and product control functions of the World Bank’s capital markets financial instruments; the product control functions for IFC, IBRD, IDA, MIGA and Trust Funds’ liquid investment and borrowings portfolios; and the debt allocation used for IBRD’s cost pass-through loan products.

What you'll do

• Review accounting entries and perform daily/monthly control activities for the borrowings and
• Analyze accounting results as they relate to the portfolios of the financial instruments unit to
• Ensure consistency with expectations and business objectives; and establish associated exception
• And monitoring reports and review and investigation processes, as needed
• Prepare and/or review system-to-system reconciliations as well as investigate and resolve

What you need

• 5–9 yrs of experience
• Treasury
• General ledger
• Financial reporting
• CFA
• Capital markets
• Test cases
• BBA or MBA or Chartered Accountant or CFA
