Senior Analyst / Manager - Tax

About the role

We are looking for a resourceful and driven professional to join DESRI, based out of the firm’s Hyderabad, India office. The successful candidate will be a part of a small, inclusive, highly skilled team responsible for supporting DESRI’s portfolio of wind, solar and battery projects in an agile environment that values collaboration, thoughtful problem solving, and attention to detail.

What you'll do

• In this role, you’ll primarily oversee and manage tax compliance for existing and new renewable projects located across multiple states in the U.S. and corporate entities
• Also be expected to support and manage the tax team in indirect tax modeling and various forms of accounting, management, and investor reporting
• Perform this role, you’ll liaise with U.S. and Hyderabad-based deal team members, asset managers, treasury, tax team
• Be responsible for initiating periodic state tax payments and addressing tax notices
• In addition to this, you’ll work on initiatives related to establishing, standardizing, optimizing and documenting tax processes, workflows and controls
