Senior Disaster Recovery Engineer

About the role

The candidate will be part of the ITDR Team in RE - Reliability Engineering supporting Core Infrastructure. We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Disaster Recovery Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely and report into the Disaster Recovery Manager to support and maintain a comprehensive disaster recovery program.

What you'll do

• Support the Disaster Recovery Manager and cross-functional technologists to analyse potential risks, perform business impact analyses
• Conduct IT Business Impact Analysis (BIA) interviews with IT stakeholders to identify critical systems, Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs)
• Develop and deploy disaster recovery plans, including updating procedures and documentation for emergency response, assist with data backup and restoration
• Conduct regular testing and validation of recovery plans and procedures to ensure their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
• Provide support to employees on disaster recovery procedures and best practices to enhance organizational readiness and response capabilities

What you need

• 5–9 yrs of experience

• Incident response
• B.Tech or B.E. or B.Sc or BCA
