Senior Executive - Quality

About the role

The Transformer Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our transformer products by performing comprehensive testing, analysis, and process monitoring according to industry standards and company requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of transformer manufacturing processes.

What you'll do

• Perform troubleshooting of all tests as per IS 2026 / IEC60076 for both Dry and Oil Type transformers
• Analyze process issues and effectively monitor critical processes such as Winding, Core building, Core Coil Assembly, Ovenning, Tanking Process, Dispatch process, VPI
• Conduct customer inspections and ensure compliance with observations
• Prepare effective corrective and preventive action plans to address quality issues and improve processes
• Conduct root cause analysis of internal and site failures to identify and address underlying issues

What you need

• 5–8 yrs of experience
• Six Sigma
• Lean manufacturing
• Root cause analysis
• Quality control
• Troubleshooting
• Wiring
• B.Tech or B.E.
