Senior Indirect Tax Specialist - VAT Compliance

About the role

This Senior Tax Specialist role manages end-to-end VAT/GST and indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The position covers preparing, reviewing, and filing returns, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate reconciliations and documentation. It also involves monitoring regulatory changes, supporting audits, and driving process improvements through automation and AI adoption.

What you'll do

• Prepare, review, and submit VAT/GST returns, sales and use tax returns, and other indirect tax filings in line with local regulations
• Ensure timely payment of VAT/GST liabilities and monitor tax deadlines to avoid penalties and interest
• Prepare and review supporting documentation, reconciliations, and tax calculations for indirect tax reporting
• Analyze accounting and transactional data to ensure accuracy and completeness of tax filings
• Monitor changes in VAT/GST legislation and assess their impact on compliance processes
