About the role

The position of Senior Project Director – S&T is the key position in these BIDs.

What you'll do

  • Oversee the review and validation of design principles for advanced Signalling (e.g., ETCS Level 2, CBTC, or Electronic Interlocking) and Telecom systems (e.g., LTE-R
  • Enforce strict adherence to RDSO specifications, Indian Railway Technical Standards, and international Safety Integrity Level (SIL-4) benchmarks
  • Supervise the seamless integration of modern indoor equipment (Axle counters, Relays, IPS) with outdoor trackside assets (Signals, Point machines)
  • Manage the physical installation, cable laying, and fitment of S&T equipment across stations, block sections, and depots
  • Coordinate critical, overlapping dependencies between S&T networks and Civil works (station buildings
