Senior Regulatory Counsel

About the role

As a senior member of the team, you will deeply influence the importance of regulatory compliance in India and act as a strategic business partner to both local and global stakeholders. You will advise on the evolving regulatory framework, including laws, regulations, and compliances prevailing in India, with a specific focus on payment aggregation and financial services.

What you'll do

• Be a trusted partner to the Product and Tech teams to design, build and launch innovative payments/financial products in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Apply expert regulatory expertise to provide exemplary advice on complex regulatory matters across multiple domains
• Skillfully strike a balance between risk and commercial needs, acting as a multiplier by guiding other team members to achieve the same
• Understand the mindset and policies of regulators and auditors to make strategic regulatory decisions
• Masterfully adapt communication style and messaging (written and verbal) to different audiences, providing clear and concise updates and challenges
