Senior Tax Analyst

About the role

Google's in-house tax team knows all things corporate tax. Made up of smart, perceptive Googlers with a flair for domestic, international, and sales and use tax, the knowledge and expertise of this team runs deep. You have years of experience in this field and an extensive knowledge of those tax issues most relevant to internet companies.

What you'll do

• Research and deliver strategic support to the regional business partners through complex tax environments in India and South Asia
• Support complex tax audits, develop and implement proactive defense strategies to achieve practical and timely issue resolutions
• Collaborate with tax, cross-functional teams, and external advisors on key tax positions
• Partner closely with internal cross-functional teams including Business, Legal
• Analyze latest tax and regulatory developments and provide actionable guidance to the stakeholders and enable implementation of the required changes

What you need

• 4–7 years in accounting & taxation
• Accounting
• International tax
• Litigation
• Tax audit
• Direct tax
• Treasury
• Chartered Accountant or B.Com
