Senior Tax Analyst

About the role

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in US state income tax compliance and tax laws, as well as practical experience in supporting ASC 740 income tax accounting (state provision).

What you'll do

• End-to-end preparation of state income and franchise tax returns and workpapers, extensions, and estimated tax payments
• Support M&A integration by reviewing state income tax returns for the acquired entities and closely monitor final or short-period state filings to ensure full…
• Support the quarterly and annual state tax provision process, including calculating state blended tax rates, deferred tax rollforward, and other supporting workpapers
• Monitor, analyze, and communicate changes in state tax legislation (such as apportionment changes, economic nexus laws
• Assist with using Gen AI and advanced applications to streamline, automate, and transform state tax compliance and provision workflows
