About the role

Cloud Database & Backup Engineer – SQL/PostgreSQL/Rubrik We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Database & Backup Engineer with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Rubrik backup solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, securing, and supporting enterprise database platforms across cloud and hybrid environments while ensuring robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery capabilities.

What you'll do

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL database environments
• Perform database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and migrations
• Ensure database availability, reliability, performance, and security
• Support HA/DR solutions including Always On Availability Groups, replication, clustering, and PostgreSQL streaming replication
• Conduct database capacity planning and growth forecasting. Performance & Optimization

What you need

• 4–8 yrs of experience
• SQL
• Python

• B.Tech or B.E. or B.Sc or BCA
