Specialist, IT Asset Administration (SAM)

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist to join our global team. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end software lifecycle, including administration, procurement, tracking, and compliance. You will work closely with IT, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support software operations, financial processes, and governance.

What you'll do

• Manage Software Asset Management requests and incidents within ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where required
• Maintain accurate software asset, license, entitlement, contract, subscription, and procurement records
• Support the end-to-end software lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, utilization, renewal, reclamation, and retirement activities
• Coordinate software purchasing, vendor quotations, renewals, and contract administration activities
• Create and manage purchase requisitions and support procurement processes in accordance with business requirements

What you need

• 5–9 yrs of experience
• ServiceNow
• Reconciliation
• Internal audit
• B.Tech or B.E. or B.Sc or BCA
