Sr Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing complex accounting activities, maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and supporting internal and external financial reporting requirements. This role plays a key part in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; prepares and reviews journal entries and reconciliations; performs financial analysis; and supports process improvements across the Controllership functio n.

What you'll do

• General Accounting & Close
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries across multiple entities and business areas
• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner
• Maintain general ledger accuracy through ongoing review of account activity and variance analysis
• Reconcile accounting schedules, such as intercompany activity, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and accruals

What you need

• 5–7 yrs of experience
• Financial reporting
• Accounting
• Month-end close
• US GAAP
• Excel
• Reconciliation
• Chartered Accountant or CMA or B.Com or BBA
