Sr. Electrical Engineer (Solar)

About the role

The offered CTC will be determined based on the candidate's past experience, previous employment history, and the current market standards.

What you'll do

• Gather preliminary information for each specific project. Conduct site assessments to evaluate the feasibility of solar installations
• Develop electrical systems for solar power installations, including PV systems, inverters, wiring, and grid connections
• Develop detailed electrical plans, schematics, and layouts using CAD software, including single-line electrical drawings and site plans
• Work closely with the procurement team to source the necessary components. Verify that the solar equipment choices are correct for the intended design goals
• Perform complex electrical calculations for transformer ground fault currents and cable sizing
