About the role
The ideal candidate will have US federal corporate income tax experience as well as practical experience in supporting ASC 740 income tax accounting for a US headquartered organization. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Tax Reporting and Compliance and is a key contributor to US tax operations.
What you'll do
- Prepare Federal income tax returns, extensions, and estimated payments using compliance software
- Support the quarterly and annual US GAAP foreign tax provision process (ASC740), including the preparation of calculations and supporting workpapers
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and proactively communicate relevant updates and their impact to the team
- Assist with leveraging technology applications to streamline and automate tax compliance and provision workflows
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and review potential tax risks or notice-related issues, escalating them to tax management as needed
