Staff Software Development Test Engineer

About the role

The Staff Software Development Test Engineer is a senior technical leader responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of Tekion's software products and platform capabilities. This role combines deep software engineering expertise with strong testing and automation skills to design, build, and evolve robust quality solutions across front-end and back-end systems.

What you'll do

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable quality engineering solutions across critical product and platform areas
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and solutions for front-end, back-end, API, and integration testing
• Conduct comprehensive manual and automated testing for UI, APIs, databases, and distributed software systems
• Design and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and detailed test reports for complex applications
• Build and maintain automation suites using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and similar testing frameworks
