What you'll do
- Verify approved stringing method statements, sag-tension charts and drum schedules
- Inspect conductor, earth wire, OPGW, insulators, fittings, joints and hardware before use
- Monitor pilot-wire installation, conductor pulling, tension control and roller arrangements
- Verify mid-span joints, repair sleeves, dead-end compression joints and jumper connections
- Monitor sagging, temperature correction, clipping and final conductor positioning
What you need
- 5–9 yrs of experience
- Calibration
- B.Tech or B.E. or Diploma
