Surveyor – Transmission Line

About the role

Verify route, alignment, levels, coordinates, tower locations, substation setting-out and as-built survey information in accordance with approved drawings and project survey control requirements.

What you'll do

• Verify primary and secondary survey control points, coordinates, benchmarks and reference levels
• Review the contractor's survey methodology, equipment calibration certificates and survey-control procedures
• Carry out check surveys for route alignment, tower locations, angle points and terminal points
• Verify tower spotting, span lengths, ground levels, profiles, clearances and tower-extension requirements
• Check foundation centre lines, stub-setting coordinates, levels and orientation

What you need

• 8–14 yrs of experience
• Surveying
• B.Tech or B.E. or Diploma
